Instructions
  1. Melt butter and syrup in a saucepan.
  2. Add bicarbonate of soda and boiling water.
  3. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Place pieces on greased tray.
  5. Bake in 'slow' oven until golden brown.
  6. Leave on tray until cold.
