Oreo Fudge Cheesecake
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 150º C.
  2. Grease a 25 cm spring-form pan.
  3. Combine the cookie crumbs for the crust and butter and press into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
  5. In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat just until combined.
  7. Stir in the remain crushed Oreos.
  8. Pour over the crust in the pan.
  9. Put the spring-form pan on a cookie sheet and wrap it with a wet towel (this keeps the outside of the cheesecake from cooking too fast).
  10. Bake for 70 minutes.
  11. Turn the oven off and open the door about 10 cm, but leave the cheesecake in for about 30 more minutes.
  12. Remove from the oven and cool for about 30 more minutes.
  13. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
  14. For the topping, mix together the sour cream and sugar and spread it on top or can add whipped cream instead.
  15. Drizzle on some hot fudge and top with mini Oreos.
Dark Chocolate Hot Fudge:
  1. Mix the condensed milk, brown sugar, and cocoa powder together in a saucepan.
  2. Cook until it begins to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Store in the refrigerator and reheat before serving.
