Quick & Easy Cheesy Meat Lasagna
  1. Preheat oven to oven to 220°C. / 425°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium high-heat brown sausage.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Meanwhile combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 120 g shredded cheese and egg.
  6. Mix until well blended.
  7. Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce onto bottom of 32 x 23 cm baking dish.
  8. Top with a layers of 3 noodles, half the ricotta cheese mixture, and 1/3 of the sauce.
  9. Repeat layers.
  10. Top with remaining noodles then cover with sauce and sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  11. Spread remaining 240 g of shredded cheese over top. Cover.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes.
  13. Remove foil.
  14. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  15. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
