Frozen Hot Chocolate from Serendipity 3
1+1/2 cups Whole Milk
180 g Dark Chocolate
1+1/2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
3 teaspoons hot Cocoa mix
3 cups Ice
Take a medium saucepan and fill 1/4 way to double-boil your chocolate.
Put on stove on medium high heat.
Shave off some chocolate and set aside for garnish at the end.
Roughly chop up the remaining chocolate.
Place in heat-proof bowl.
Once water boils, place bowl on top of pot and stir until melted.
Take sugar and cocoa mix and stir until smooth.
Take off heat and slowly stir in the milk until mixture becomes smooth.
Let cool until room temperature.
Fill blender with ice and pour in chocolate mixture.
Blend for a minute until icy.
Pour into serving cup, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
Serves: 2 to 4.
