Apple Cinnamon Bread
peeled and chopped into small pieces
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon into a small bowl.
Beat white sugar and melted butter together in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth and then add vanilla extract.
Combine flour and baking powder together into a bowl and then mix into sugar mixture, mix until combined.
Add milk into batter and mix until batter is smooth.
Grease loaf pan and lightly flour.
Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan.
Sprinkle half the apples and then half of the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture onto batter in pan and pat lightly into batter.
Pour remaining batter on top.
Sprinkle remaining apples and cinnamon/brown sugar mixture onto top of batter and lightly pat apples down and then swirl the cinnamon sugar mixture around on top.
Bake at 180° C. / 350° F. for 40 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
This bread is the lightest, most delicious Apple Cinnamon Bread!
