Five Spice Vegetable Stir Fry
A vegetable stir fry that you can interchange with lamb, chicken, beef or even tofu. All five flavours - sour, bitter, sweet, pungent, and salty are traditionally found in Chinese five-spice powder with cinnamon, star anise, clove, fennel and pepper usually making up the mixture.

Chicken Vegetable Stir Fry
Instructions
  1. Mix together lamb (or tofu) and the five spices.
  2. Over a medium heat setting, stir-fry lamb (or tofu) until brown.
  3. Remove pan from heat and then remove the mix to a warm holding container.
  4. Add garlic and onion to pan.
  5. Return to heat and stir-fry until onion softens.
  6. Mix 60 ml water, broccolini, peas and mushrooms.
  7. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
  8. Return lamb (or tofu) to pan with the remaining water and sauces.
  9. Stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes.
  10. Season to taste.
  11. Serve stir-fry sprinkled with sliced chilli.
