** Tin Pannikin Pub in Herberton North Queensland Australia – 960 x 576 px **
The Tin Pannikin Pub is the centrepiece of the Village.
It is the only building that does not date from Herberton years
but is built in the same style as the Ettamoggah Pub
and even has an actual 1926 Essex ute set into its roof line!
Herberton is located near Atherton and is the oldest village in the Tablelands.
Established in 1880, Herberton Historic Village became the richest tin mining field in Australia. This village is now an outdoor museum with over 50 period buildings
and a lot of history to share.
